Rohit surpasses universe boss for most sixes in international cricket.

Indian Captain Rohit Sharma created world record for most sixes in international cricket gone passed Chris Gayle.  

Rohit failed to make runs on the game against Australia in their World Cup opener. Their second match was against Afghanistan at Delhi. 

Chasing a moderate score of 280, India got to a flying start courtesy Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan. The Mumbai pair took India over hundred runs for the opening wicket. 

Rohit smashed his seventh world cup hundred. The knock got constructed with six sixes and seventeen fours and broke the record for most sixes in international cricket. 

The previous record was 556 sixes by West Indies Star batter Chris Gayle. Shahid Afridi, Brendon Mccullum were in that elite list. 

Rohit Sharma is now the leading run scorer for India in the ongoing World Cup.
